Those of you who are familiar with my story know I didn’t come from money. When I was only 13, I was out on street corners, juggling my way to making a living.
And even at that very young age, I was obsessed with the question of luck. I always thought that if I could just figure out a way to make more, I’d eventually get to where I wanted to go. As it turns out - I was spot on!
The moment I learned the secret to luck, amazing things started happening. I was able to do stuff I once considered impossible.
Just to clarify, that doesn’t mean everything went smoothly from that moment on. I’ve failed more times than anyone I know.
Still, there’s not a single doubt in my mind that learning how to create luck has helped me get where I am today. That’s why, I’m going to share the secret I discovered a long time ago, hoping it will help you the way it helped me.
You probably know some people who seem extremely lucky. As if everything they touch turns to gold and no matter what they attempt, it keeps going their way.
On the other hand, we’ve all met unbelievably unlucky people too. Those that struggle for everything and can never catch a break.
But the truth is, when you look a little closer, we all fail sometimes!
In the end, the real difference between success and failure is your attitude. Those that seem lucky in life don’t get discouraged by failures. Instead, they look at them as opportunities for learning and growth. They use those times as fuel to keep working hard until they get a win.
On the flip side, those who appear unlucky are constantly complaining about how bad things are and end up overwhelmed with negativity.
How you answer this question gives you profound insight into your ability to create luck.
By having a positive attitude and genuinely feeling as though the world is being kind to you, you’re setting yourself up for success. This type of mindset allows you to get good results, and have the appearance of creating good luck.
On the other hand, if you see the world as it’s out to get you, chances are you’re going to attract even more negativity and get stuck in feelings of bad luck.
“What you say and what you believe has the power to become real, whether it’s positive or negative.” - Daniel Rosen
Positive people can see further ahead, which makes it easier for them to set goals. They can make plans, strategize, regroup, and track their progress at all times.
If you have a bad attitude and your judgment is clouded, there’s no way for you to see where you’re supposed to go. Nobody stumbled their way into any kind of meaningful, long-term success; knowing where you’re going is essential to getting there.
Understanding your ability to attract positive situations into your life is remarkably powerful.
You can begin by using these four simple steps.
Regardless of what you’re trying to achieve, you need to set a goal. Whatever it is - make sure it’s big. For example, starting your own business or even becoming a millionaire.
Once you’ve set your goal, you need laser beam focus. Achieving your goal is going to be a process. Break down your journey into smaller goals and work on them every single day. Most importantly - always focus on just one thing at a time!
Help as many people as you can. Giving selflessly and generously also increases how much you will receive in the end. By enriching others, you’re setting off a course of action that will make you richer as well.
Finally, you need to visualize yourself achieving your goal. Create a vision board or hang a picture related to what you’re setting out to accomplish. Make it a constant reminder and inspiration.
“This is how you make luck, and this is how you build a business of your dreams.” - Daniel Rosen
I hope this episode helps you create luck and helps you change your life and the lives of those around you.
